Question About carpet

Can I cut around the windshield area and it still come out good if I replace carpet. Pictures attached

Depends on how well you can trim it. You'll have to cut the new carpet to fit perfectly against the windshield to avoid gaps. That style carpet will show them even worse.

It's not hard to take the windshields off though.

How hard to get the it back on is my concern, never done it before

Yes, it can turn out good with new carpet, just take your time with the cuts around the windshield so the edges look clean and finished.

pull the windshield. Then you can also clean up all the caulk. getting back on is not hard.

pull windshield
replace carpet
rough-fit windshield, using a straight pic or awl to locate screw holes
reinstall screws
