well i dont think its black, it looks just dark brown to me, the whole area was dark like the spot a day or so ago but it was raining alot, but now it seems to be drying and turning light brown.
the area around the damaged spot looks black but thats actually grey...

None of the outside damage is black, it was dark colored from being wet, as you can see in the new photos its drying out and turning back light brown colored.

Well never owned a boat before, but i got this little boat for 300$ with trailer, motor, and well boat. I figured the area that is hurt in the front is damaged is repairable. My friend who lives a ways from me said he could do it but i wanted to get some heads up from people on what to expect...
