    Time for a new prop?

    Hi, I have a 1991 25 hp Short shaft remote Mercury with the original prop. Tonight while going up on plane, the motor revved up but the boat slowed down at about 3000 rpm. it's fine at low rpm. Did the rubber bushing in the prop give up the ghost? Thanks.

    Hi Everyone, A neighbor has a 1974 Merc 40 hp that was sitting for 2 years. We got it running, and it ran for 1 short ride.
