hello guys i got a 71 jolly roger and i need to replace the transom but dont know where to start. the other owner put fiberglass all over everyhing and put a metal brace. how can i replace the rotting wood?

sorry for the delay. im in the middle of redoing the transom and getting the boat ready for paint.i ended up seeing a jolly roger just like mine in person the other day and saw what needed to be done.all i need now really is to find out how can i respray the boat...
hello guys i recently got a 70's jolly roger skiboat and i got a few questions. the boat has no stringer but just has carpet layed over the fiberglass and fiberglass tabs to secure the seats down does this boat need a stringer?. the original seats are back to back with bolsters facing outwards...
