My boat previously had the license numbers above the rub rail.
I recently painted it and I want to put the license numbers just below the rub rail but I'm not sure if it will be o.k. Will this be legal?
I live in Ca. U.S.A.
I have an older 35 h.p. mercury. The only numbers I have gotten off it was from a sticker on the transom clamp assembly. The # is 0A966312.
I don't know if this is a short or long shaft.I'm not even sure if it uses premix fuel or not
