    25 hp evinrude maybe 1978 not sure lower unit shaft spline

    i have a 25 hp evinrude motoer that when i took the lower unit off i found that the top of the shaft is 4 splined but the power head is more than that and larger diameter . am i missing a adapter or is this not the right shaft .the motor was like this when gave to me...

    1976 water pump replacement

    i am having trouble getting lower unit off . took out 6 bolts and removed linkage rod beneath carb .feels like something else is still connected. is there or should i tap harder ?dont want to damage casing.

    1973 chrystler 130 no spark.

    i purchased this motor last fall for a pontoon but didnt get it together then. i had to put a ignition switch on it and had intermittent fire then but now have no fire at all cleaned the points but no fire no power to the coil either need help with troubleshooting the system.
