Just installed lower units on 200 merc outboards twins.
Running on muffs first climbed to 140 degree but water was pumping well from telltale. Seemed a little hot for just 5 minutes.
Second, no water right away from tell tale, pooked hole seemed to be clogged got a dribble, reved egine got...
I have a 97 Proline 2950 with t225 on a Gil bracket. One one the mounting bolts is leaking water into hull.
Best repair, remove bolt and re seal? Seal around joint between hull and bracket?
What type or sealer do you recommend ?
