    need help 40hp evinrude

    i just got a boat with a 70s evinrude 40hp motor but it has no tach but i have the tach off a 69 skidoo thats in good shape both motors are 2 cylinder 2 strokes with points will this work and how do i hook it up

    chrysler 6hp carb options

    :confused:im building a single seat mini boat out of a dead seadoo and a 60s chrysler 6hp but my motor has no carb i was thinking about useing a kehin dirtbike carb with the same bolt pattern i got in my shop but i dont know how these motors pump gas to the carb and i dont want to mount a tank...

    i was out boating and the high speed needle vibrated loose and started spinning the motor died now i cant get it going:mad:

    my free boat

    i got a free 70s speed boat with every thing stripd out it dosent leak but its in realy bad shape i was useing it with a 1958 evinrude 3hp should i fix it up with a bigger motor and paint or get a new boat

    eska 4.5

    iv been having porblems and i found out why the water pump gasket on the carb was EDIT can i cut a new one or do i have to buy one

    eska hard to start

    my eska 4.5 takes about a hour of screwing around with the air screw and the choke to get it going and then it runs perfect till i kill it then it wont start again even when its hot:confused:

    easy way to make a good boat

    if you build the shape out of plywood (dot wory about small holes or cracks) and cover it with IKO torch flecks base roofing material
