recently rebuilt my lower unit, when i had it in the vice i noticed it seemed like the cam might have been gettin jammed up on something or perhaps the cam follower was. i tapped the prop shaft and it seemed to free it up.
i mated the LU to the driveshaft housing and once again it wont...
hey all, im kinda jammed up with this rebuild.
i have to entire lower end disassembled. Im attempting to seat the forward gear and attached ball bearing back into the housing, but it just wont slide in.
im confused by this because all it took to get it out was a little tap on the housing...
