Considering sale of my 50yr old Classic StarCraft w/cutty cabin but have no clue as to what I should ask....any idea ?

ck'd motor 20a fuse-ok,all 12v connections@ battery-ok, starter spins but no spark @ either plug !
this motor has always fired up after winter storage with no problems...whats up ?
Prev owner knocked-off transom end cap from my 1974 S.S.while docking her & i'm looking to replace it.
This is the alum cast part that fits on starboard side upper rear corner of transom.
Prefer to buy one 'original' replacement part, used/new, but will consider a pair if that's only option...
Doing a little resto on my sweet 16' SS & need to find replacement part... prev owner 'lost' rear starboard side transom corner alum casting, it acts as a sorta guard for rear corner & looks stupid w/o it !
I already found a reproduction pair on ebay but only need rightside & don't want to pay...
