Rocker arms seat on/in rectangular pedestal on the head with a 1/2 bolt. And ive been told you just tighten each to 24 ft/lbs with tourque wrench and thats it, that theres no adjustment or set procedure, on this type head( 460 ford) any remarks??????????? JUST REALIZED ALSO THAT I DIDNT MARK...
Boat sat for a couple years and i know trim worked before it sat any suggestions. Anyone have an exploded view of trim components, wiring diagram, etc...
Ordered replacement lower shift cable kit. Came with all required pieces, gaskets, orings, bellow etc...
But the written instructions to assemble the cable pieces were written for a rocket scientist not an avid boat enthusiasist. Or i guess a may need pictures/diagram to understand it!! So if...
Recentlly purchased an 87 searay with 470 mercruiser i/o for $300.00 that had a known blown head gasket that was noticeable upon removing the head. Also i had the head pressure tested, resurfaced, and a complete valve job done. Reinstalled with factory oem head,exhaust, and intake gaskets...
