going to take cover off and look for possible bent push rod
will check compression again after cylinder soak .. and will remove the head if it continues

almost seemed motor seized after 4 or 5 try's
starter would not Engauge . replaced starter , did compression test ,
right bank all about 125
# 6 125 # 2 75 # 4 100
sprayed all cylinders with 4d 40 let sit
test #2 75 #4 zero all plugs out turned freely
#2 and # 4 added engine...
if it is rings ? should I fog carb while trying too start ...?
right band was sprayed with wd 40 ,all about 126 compression .
motor was cranked without plugs and was seemingly free ..
i have 2002 mercruser ..same basic steps on starting .
# 6 and # 4 were not sprayed and show 80 lbs and 100 lbs as others are 127 average . brand new starter and plugs and wires ..
almost seizing like action in efforts to start
wondering as proximity of 6 and 4 if i have cracked...
