just checking my Evinrude 9.9 1980 e10rcnr ,To find that the end play on the propeller shaft is 0.021". I change the Timken cup and cone bearing , and the clearance stay the same... What should be the ideal end play for that shaft? Thank you for your comments. Ronald...on the Bonaventure river.....
I have an 9.5 Johnson ,model 9222 in fair shape. I was told that this engine model, if well tuned can be adjusted to idle at a very low RPM. Can some one tell me what RPM this engine can be adjusted (slow idle) without stalling? Thank you for your answer! Ronald.
