1996 2 stroke 175 hp outboard on a streaker 5.85 tournament series 2 wieght 1.7 t 20 degree deadrise 3 blade 25 pitch prop which runs @ 40 mph wot & 5100 rpm , is this prop suited for fishing trips of about 100 mile ive got a 170 litre fuel tank. Is this a good result or can something be changed...

ive got a 5.85m streaker tornament with 170 ltr fuel tank the boat wieghs about 1.7 tonne it has a 20 degree deadrise which i run a 1996 2 stroke yamaha outboard & it currently has a 3 blade prop. What would be better for fuel ecomony i only use the boat for fishing ,is a 4 blade better on fuel...
Can any one tell me if there is a product or a conversion that will improve the fuel ecomny on the 175, its only done about 150 hrs, its mounted on a 5.85 streaker tournament with a 170 ltr fuel tank. Any information would be great.
