I have had problems whit my fifty it seems to run fine then starts to bog put back in neutral and let it idle some times it comes out of it right away. sounds like electrical like not firing on one cylinder but im not shure because by the time I start pulling wires it seems to come out of it but...
i rrecently removed a 1973 merc 200 20 hp and instaled a 1981 merc 50 hp the cables are connected correctly but foreward on the controll is reverse on the outboard can this be corrected???? currently forward pushes cable towards the outboard.. could a previous owner got something wrong...
