    These inline 6 motors run very nice / slow when in good condition.-----Folks often start guessing / adjusting things.----They mess them all up.

    Agreed----I've seen a lot of boats listed / sold that just need TLC.-----Death traps is what they are.----I am about 3 hrs west of you.----Remove the floor and see what it needs.----And it takes a lot longer to build / repair a boat than what they tell you.

    power loss and shaking motor

    Some of these 4 strokes can NOT be revved up in neutral.----ECU prevents this.----Test with it in gear and post a video of a test run.

    Revisit the fuel pump.-----Location of UP marking.-----Dome spring location relative to outlet nipple.----Check valves in the pump.

    These pumps are used on 3 HP (1968 ) to 25 HP.----Pump plenty of fuel.----But it can be assembled with OUTLET and dome spring in different position.----Also marked with UP .----Make sure it is correct for your motor.----Pump may have been swapped out and they all look the same.

    I would never buy a new pump.----They are so simple to repair.----Checked for PRESSURE pulses from the crankcase that drive the pump?----Any small creatures build a nest under the cover over the winter?---Checked pick-up tube inside your tank?
