Hi all,
I have a 'vintage' johnson 70 up motor. Tried tilting the motor up to replace the water pump but it won't budge at all. The motor is currently in 'run'. Ended up having to remove the motor from the transom in order to pull the lower unit.
Anyhow...trying to figure out what is going on...

Hey all,
Took my fly wheel off (which was a huge pain) ,cleaned underneath it and tried to thread the nut back back on. The nut seems extremely tight; Is this normal? Should I get a new nut or try to use the existing?
Also, I'm still trying to troubleshoot a no spark at the spark plugs...

Just curious if anyone can troubleshoot a "no spark" problem. I was out on the water yesterday when my main motor gave out on me half way through the day. It ran like a champ turned it off to start the kicker....finished trolling and tried to restart the main motor only to find out it...
