    Resurrecting this motor from a dunking. Been some work. Got no spark. Went to static test with YDS - no signal to 1/4 coil pack or 2/3 coil pack. Static test works well injectors. power is good to both coil packs, not getting ground from ECU. Have good continuity on blk/ylw and blk/gry...

    pushed the ckp up as far as possible and got a 1000 cranking amp battery. CKP voltage at 2 volts and injectors firing. thanks

    Just got this. Checked compression, all good. Fired up on my stand, purring like a kitten. Go to turn the key off, and nothing. Pulled the lanyard - nothing. This is my first Evinrude. What am I missing? Thanks

    2005 DF115 low voltage CKP

    just finished a rebuild on this. No Injectors are firing. CKP reads at 201 ohms but is putting out .6 vac. Spacing is .3 inch from flywheel. Don't have SDS diagnostic software. Motor is a bit tight after rebuild and is not cranking real fast. would this cause the low voltage?

    chasing down wiring on my new to me Nissan. I see that the blue wire on the control cable is for choke. How does this work? It is like a push to prime on a merc 2 stroke? Thanks

    F115 - no signal to #2 injector

    Swapped out the harness - didn't fix it. When you talk about continuity, just ohm out the leads going from the ecu to the injecter? If the wires are good and there is no signal at the NICO, does that mean there is no signal from the ecu? Next step - ecu

    Tested with a NICO light - 1, 3 and 4 all good, 2 no good. Figuring harness or ECU. Anyone have experience with this? THX

    It is on a stand, no control cables hooked up. Throttle is sprung shut. This is acting like it is wide open throttle to me, but it is definitely closed.

    runs for about 1 second then I shut it down. 3000 rpm is a guess. could be 4k or 5k. it is quite startling. Started it twice, then again 2 days later. same thing each time. figured i'd get an error code or something to debug. ordered a replacement ECU that is returnable within 30 days...
