I’ve a Bravo 1 on my 2001 searay. I didn’t take enough pics to determine if the new steering arm faces up or down. Attached is a pic of what I think is right. Please advise Go/NoGo Thx
Checking back in: problem found. The battery cable to starter solenoid wasn’t even finger tight. The zip ties holding the cable were about the only thing keeping contact.
I’ve an intermittent starting issue that’s got me baffled. Turn battery master on, then key on yielding nothing: no power to the dashboard, no electrical up front, no crank, no initial beep in dash, dead everywhere.
This 1st happened 3.1.23 and the only time I could get it to “switch on”...

I’m chasing an intermittent problem while running where engine just shuts off, but immediately restarts and runs fine the rest of the day. It’s happened last season a few times.
My fuel rail pressure is about 12 psi. What is the value for this...
After 1 hr run time @4500 rpm in 75degF weather and 55degF water temps, the engine runs much better. Coming out of the hole both cylinders firing now, but the engine certainly has a sweet spot in Rpms before it sounds and feels happy.
IMO, my jetting is suspect for lower temps in the Low Speed...
My compression results were both cylinders were 140 psi. I’m about to go burn some gas through it and see if anything has changed since it’s warmer now.
I’ve a 50 hp johnson for 2 1/2 yrs and have run about 35 gallons of 10%ethanol fuel through in this time. I’ve replaced the fuel pump and spark plugs and cleaned the carbs initially . Boat was inactive from 9/15/20 - 1/5/21 when it started acting up.

I need advice as to what’s next. Today after a 10 minutes cruise, then a 3minute idle speed cruise, the temp alarm went off showing 220 on the gauge so I killed the engine. I popped the hatch and my IR temp gun read 160-185 on various parts of top of engine. Oil filter temp was 185. Elbows/...
