    Brothers wishful thinking

    Yep, My brother thinks he's ready to tackle replacing a ring in one of the cylinders of a 4 cylinder, 1996 90hp Evinrude SeaPro. Piston chamber also has slight grooves in one area. Any suggestions on what blew head gasket? Any on what my brother thinks to accomplish?

    blew another fuse

    I have a 77 evinrude, 70 hp. I have had to install a Bypass switch because of a problem I have run into. There's a little fuse located just above ignition solenoid that blows everytime I turn over engine. Solenoid has been replaced just recently. Any clues?
