just wondering what plugs are for this motor? i have the QL78YC CHAMPION plugs in it, but would like to go with a NGK plug (had way better luck on my other 2 cycle motors with these). i did find in the champion book other plugs for this motor as well so i just wanted to make sure the ones in...
i read were these give lots of trouble, but i dont know if i want to spend 600$ on a power trim. what else can be done. we bought a cable thinking it was that, (it locked down and wont release and cant get it up.) we took lift assist cylinder off and its siezed up in the cylinder or something...
i am installing new seals in lower unit on a evinrude 48 slp 1988, i seen alot of guys on the internet use a seal compound made by evinrude. i have the bearing carrier out right now and havent put in seals yet because i see some small pitting and a few little scratches. this is no big deal...
