    No spark, no service manual...

It was a bullet connector at the kill switch. The connector was warm to the touch after 10 minutes of key on. It didn't even look corroded.

    No spark, no service manual...

I kinda assumed this was the case. Should be a simple fix. We will likely be replacing the impeller that he claims is original from the late 90's. I guess the 3 years or 200 hours is pretty conservative...

    No spark, no service manual...

That is definitely not it. This isn't a very sharp picture, but the wire coming straight out of the coil is purple. That purple wire ties into the choke, alternator, cutout switch, and into the harness connector. I'm not certain what the terminal on the alternator is for. Is that switched...

    No spark, no service manual...

I meant the cutout switch, not the neutral switch.

    No spark, no service manual...

I'm trying to help a friend that says he's not getting ignition spark on a 3.0 lx 0K029415. I can't remember where to find service manuals, but the schematic shows the purple wire at the coil, neutral switch, and alternator all tied together. The purple wire shows 1.1 volts, even when...

    A1g2 reseal question

I ordered an upper seal kit and I will just push back some important stuff to make it happen. Next winter if the boat needs any work, it's going in the garage. My wife will complain so much I know I'll get the work done just to shut her up.

    A1g2 reseal question

Is oil in the bellow a death sentence for the bellow, or can they just be cleaned out and last a while?

    A1g2 reseal question

Tell that to the leaking seal. $2k for a quick easy job is pretty cheap if you price a new boat

    A1g2 reseal question

It is a 2007 OW843360 and vessel view shows 333hrs. It is extremely tempting to just buy a new drive and be done with it.

    A1g2 reseal question

I noticed a little oil in my bellow last year and I'm trying to figure out how far I want to go with seal replacement. Do all of these seals typically fail at similar times? I'm kinda lazy and swore I was going to reseal the whole thing this winter, but the ice is disappearing and I just don't...

    Trailer tires dryrotting again

You may be correct about p tires as I haven't owned a car in 16 years. As for LT and st, I have not found it to be true. I also don't know how they balance on a machine because I use beads and mount myself. Everything is smooth and trouble free. Yes the cheap tires are typically softer and...

    Trailer tires dryrotting again

A few years ago I got fed up with paying big money for tires that were junk. I've been buying the cheapest tires I can find since then and have had zero problems. I think tires are a lot like tools. Snap on was the best 25 years ago, but today many of their products are equaled or beat by...

Tube pressure? And need new tube too

They don't state a pressure, but the 110v airhead inflator is rated for 3psi. I just wonder how many people have actually measured the pressure in their toys?

    24 volt trolling wiring

A picture would be worth a lot here.

Tube pressure? And need new tube too

I ran an airhead mega ruckus under inflated twice before I realized it was underinflated. I kept reading 2 psig as the typical inflation pressure, so I aired up to 2 psig and of course it was firm. The fill valve was a little off center of the jacket so I deflated and got back up to 25-28...
