Hell yes ! , ticks a few boxes . Nothing like being right there .......gettin showered in mud and crap ....or gravel depending on the track , videos dont do it justice 😁
Start it up with the thermostat covers off ,should get a decent gush of water ,about the same out of each of them , only need to run untill you see the water , ideally within a few seconds . If its ok fit your new stats .🙂
Yes they dont look right when your not used to it all hanging out there. I think that if you were to figure out the weights and positioning thereof of the two different engine set ups there wouldnt be a lot in it ....and you would get used to at all hanging out the back and think of the extra...
My rod building skills are limited to replacing tips/rings .......Ive even done one on the river bed for some old guy . I have rescued a few rods that only needed a tip ,and even a cheap rod likes a Fuji ceramic tip 😁

Been probly 10 years since I used the orded one ,cant say the Makita 18v is gruntier than the corded but it has drilled every hole I wanted. I have been mindful not to overload it but then I have only ever used 3ah batteries . Tbh if I had used the 9ah ( just got them for the saw and grinder )...
