ON MY 2000 25 HP MERCURY I HAVE A FUEL LEAK BETWEEN THE CRANKCASE COVER AND THE CYLINDER BLOCK . IS THERE A RELIEF VALVE SOMEWHERE FOR CRANKCASE PRESSURE THAT I DONT KNOW ABOUT ? THE ENGINE RUNS FINE , JUST MAKES A MESS.
can anyone tell me how the fuel flows from the carb to the cylinders ? I have a leak between the crankcase cover and the cylinder block . is there a passage for fuel through the crankcase ? is there possibly a gasket that could be bad ?
I have discovered a fuel leak on my 25 hp merc. it is leaking between the crankcase and cylinder block . would this be piston rings or something else ?
