Fuel on a 2 cycle engine is mixed at the carb, inducted thru the reed or other type of valve system into the crankcase where it lubes the bearings is compressed on the downward stroke of the engine and as the transfer ports open it travels into the combustion camber and is again compressed on the up stroke then fired by the ign and exhausted on the bottom of the powerstroke (downstoke)
