I have a 1984 evinrude 115 hp and the vro pump is broken. I know that Evinrude made a second version of the VRO called the VRO2, and I am wondering if I can use this VRO2 to replace the VRO that is broken. Also, if that doesn't work, what is the best pump to use to replace the VRO?? I...
We are having trouble getting the engine to start at all. We recently removed the VRO pump because we were told we do not need it and it was leaking. Does the VRO pump also act as the fuel pump? And if so, are there certain parts of the pump that we can remove and other parts we can't?
