Will a Vintage Chrysler Outboard 74H09 Tachometer work on a 1974 35hp battery ignition? on the back is a switch from 1,2.3,4 which I would guess would be cylinders.
I rebuilt the transom on it, did a repaint. The 50hp on her is low on compression so I will rebuild it. My question for the group is will a 35hp power it good while the 50 gets rebuilt?

Hello, I am currently replacing the cable on my StarCaft 15' boat. Measuring by the information at the top of this page my measurements are 159 inches. Do I add 6 more inches for an outboard? Should I get a 13 or a 14-foot cable? Thank you.
