Hello everyone! Ok my 50 amp engine breaker keeps tripping while trying to start engine. The engine does turn over slightly and then the breaker trips every time. I have inspected and replaced all the main battery cables. I did a full tune up on engine plugs, plug wires, cap, and rotor button...
Was wanting some input on a good set of plug wires for my Mercrusier 454 thunderbolt ignition/carb. Should they be marine plugs? Brands and part numbers would be helpful.

Hello everyone I have a question about my throttle control. While under load and cruising I have to hold my hand on my throttle or it will start backing off. What could be the problem? I'm running a 225 Monterey with a Merc 454 and quicksilver controls. Any help would be appreciated!
