    Tilt trim problem

    97 Fast Strike 115- Not charging and erratic tach

    Today I noticed that my rpms were going to 0 when I gave it throttle. When I let up, it would go back around 2000. Then I looked at my fish finder and noticed my voltage was staying at 12.2 while the engine was running and didn't change at WOT. Is this a voltage regulator/rectifier problem?

    Took the boat out on Saturday and it ran great as usual. The only thing different is that I idled the entire time the last 2 trips I made. I still have the vro and the pump is only 2 years old. Could this just be unburned oil from idling so much?
