I am putting a new floor in a 1984 smokercraft 14 ft aluminum fishing boat.
i removed the old bilge pump and submergible switch and livewell pump.
would like to keep the live well but was woundering is there a better way to hook a pump up that wouls fill the well and aerated as well i...
Any one have a diagram or tip on how to reinstall cloesline stearing cable as mine has come undune .
and i can't remember if the frount part of the drum goes clock wise or counter clockwise any help would be great

I have been having some truble with my 64 40hp.
She starts fine and idles good at low speed, but when i put the throttle up it run's fine for a minut or 2 and then seems to and does die.
I then have to wait a few min. for it to start again.

Got it all runnig good
Have a hair line crack at Exhaust housing (where housing meets power head)
What is the worst thing that will happen?
And how hard of a fix is this?
Or ha ha can i keep using the motor as is as i don't know how long it has been leaking,

I am looking for a fuel pump.
My parts cat shows OMC.0388685
Nearest new replacment pump i can find is Seirra 18-7352.
Supplier can not be sure as his numbers do not include OMC,0388685 as his year's only go back to 1976.

And i noticed in the service manual that there isan o=ring at the top of the water pump cover along with a seal.
