my 88 johnson 48 spl. tilt and trim wont stay up and wont go up under way. the trim motor is operating seems like the hydrolics are weak . it is apprently one of the dealer add on types that mount to the starboard side engine bracket . can they be rebuilt , seals , check valve . something?. if...
i have a 85 evinrude 15 hp. run well exept it starts ok but seems to require a little chock to keep idling intil it good and warm and about 50% of the time it dies when you put it in gear and give it gas. chocking seems to help. whats up? ....Howard.:
