i have recently reinstalled my engine in my boat (sea ray select 220 6.2 mpi) and there is a socket on the distributor that i can't find anything on the loom to plug in to it.
engine is running fine on muffs and am going to do a lake test thursday.

i have noticed my gellcoat is damaged on the bottom of my boat, it has gone down to to fibreglass, what i am asking is will this leak and does it need repairing immediately.

Looks like I have to rebuild my engine, what is he correct procedure.
Obviously I will remove all cables and pipes connected between boat an engine.
Do I then remove manifolds, undo engine mounts and lift out or is it more complicated

Valve spring broke while out yesterday, managed to get a new one on today but it doesn't seem to be pulling the valve right up( about 1/8 inch lower than the rest)
