    Workers Comp problem

I had shoulder surgery in June. After surgery, I returned to work with restrictions. In the early going, the boss's saw my discomfort and sent me home early on many occasions and some days there wasn't anything for me to do. I also missed work for Dr. appointments and therapy. Now the Insurance...

    The childproof life

Just read this in Readers Digest. ---PERFECT--- When I was a kid, we didn't have padding under our jungle jims. We had rocks. We didn't have safety belts on our swing sets. The whole goal was to get as high as you could, then launch yourself into the stratosphere. We rode our bikes without...

    Stopped a SHT today

On my way home from my sons house, as I turned a corner at a stop light, I noticed  a boat at the light going in the other direction with the BOW LINE hanging over the fender of the trailer. Lucky for him I got his attention before the light changed and got the line stowed properly in the...

    What a launch

Returning to the ramp after a day if fishing, what I saw was amazing. This guy is alone and attempting to launch his boat, a 21ft Thompson cuddy. As he is backing down the ramp his port side trailor tire is progressing down the ramp under his watchful eye. HOWEVER, the starboard tire is heading...

    Fish Locator/Speed?

When searching for fish, how fast can I be traveling and still get a reliable reading? I will be mainly in about twenty (20) feet of water but also from eight (8) to seventy (70). Does depth play a big roll from shallow to deep? My locator is an Eagle Ultra. Thanks for the help.

    First tow vehicle EVER

1962 Chevy Biscayne Wagon. The year was 1973, just out of the Marine Corps. This little beauty set me back a cool $35. Straight six with three on the tree. Looking back she was a rose bud. A quart of oil every 300 miles, the clutch slipped making it a real joy at the ramp and it took both hands...

    Trailer lights high or low?

Just finished putting guide ons on my trailer. Next step, complete rewiring. Question, should I put the lights back on the frame or mount them up on the guide ons to keep from dunkin them at the ramp? Have seen some up on the guide ons traveling down the road but they look like they are getting...

    Prime? Choke? Idle?

I have a 1998 25hp Mariner. Question, Does the choke nob also prime the motor by "pushing it in?" Does it also control the Idle by "turning the nob?" I traded the motor for a push mower and I know nothing about this outboard. Any help on this matter would be VERY welcome. Thanks
