I need some advice (again). I've got a 2000 Johnson 150hp carbed 2 stroke. When I bring the boat up on plane and reach about 3000RPM, the check engine alarm/light goes off. When I lower the throttle back to 1500-2000 rpm, the alarm shuts off. Even when the alarm is triggered, the motor is runs...
I've got an aftermarket external fuel filter/water separator installed on a a 2000 Johnson 150HP Oceanrunner. Yesterday the check engine alarm/light came on when I tried to run over 2000RPM. (at idle speed, there was no alarm).
I know this is a fuel restriction issue, so I was going to start...
I have a 2000 Johnson 150hp that wont rev over 2800rpms under load. I initially thought it was a throttle cable issue but after some investigating I found I wasnt getting any spark to the 3 port side cylinders. Does this typically point to a bad powerpack on that side?

Thanks in advance!
