    Wet sand it with 800- 1000 grit sandpaper and then buff with a good buffing compound.

    you may have short term success, time is relative. the jb will fall out eventually, especially as you can't get to the area to prep it properly.

    Those things got popular when we were putting glass packs on our old cars. Less restriction of exhaust and intake added a few ponys. It sounds good anyways. 😁
