    When I try to trim out my boat at any speed the rpms and speed pickup until the av plate is about level with the keel.     I have a cool old steering wheel i want to use on my boat, but it has a 1" tapered shaft and my helm has a 3/4" tapered shaft. Is there some kind of adapter i could use? I have searched but can't find anything. Does anybody have any other ideas?
