Anybody out there got an early 80s Blue Fin Sportsman 16 or 18 they could measure their beam length? Long story short, i picked up a Sea Nymph SS175 Fish n Ski and it literally looked aluminum-wise the same width inside as my dad's 83 BlueFin Sportsman 18 he had when i was a kid. Nada...
So i bought a different motor for my other boat (69 Starcraft Seafarer). Found a guy on craigslist for $250 for a running working MQ-14E Johnson 9.5hp motor. Ran her in a barrel, smokes a little bit she runs good. Could use a little tune up but she was smooth once I got her running.
