    I know this is an old post but did not see this suggestion, for plug removal buy a 5/8" socket with swivel (knurly) as part of the socket, works perfectly. O'reilly sells them.

    Potential First Boat - 1995 Century Arabian 24'

    Just bought your sisters boat, 95 w 5.0L 195 hrs on it. Things I should have checked; Plugs are near impossible to access, check hull for thru hole depth gauge failed attempts, check bellows carefully for cracking. Of course due dilegence on std 22 point check list or pay for a survey.

    Hello Mariner Supreme, SS is great but $$$$, have you had a negative experience with 1" aluminum? Some advise on mounting to original top side window frame bracket, advisable or not? Seems like too much strain may be placed on frame. OEM bimini is small and drops to window top and only 36" long...

    There are rubber caps, snugged up against plug wires so tight they chaff. Probably single use caps, so before I remove them need to find more. Thanks for the tip..

    Yes its flush, and the previous owner used the boat a tot of 30 hrs in 6 yrs. and new nothing about it. The first owner I cant contact.. thank you.

    I will have to check, my initial assessment was it is metal, definitely not wood, it might be plastic. Not visible thru hatch. Not going to cut secondary hatch just yet. Thanks for your advise.
