    I have a 04 3.0 mercruiser alpha one outdrive with stiff steering. I unhooked the cable behind the motor and the steering wheel turns fine, but outside the boat the outdrive is VERY hard to turn and makes a screeching noise when it's all the way to one side. I figure it's the swivel shafts...

    I have a 2004 Glastron sx175, 3.0, alpha one. I'm pretty sure its sit in the weather a lot before I got it. Finally got it running great and no outdrive leaks, thanks to you guys. It's the first inboard I've owned without power steering. It was almost impossible to steer when I first got it...

    Top cap getting warm, alpha one gen 2

    I have a 2004 glastron sx175 with a 3.0 , alpha one gen 2 outdrive. I've noticed after running down the lake for 15 or 20 min the top cap is getting warm to the touch. Not hot. You can lay your hand on it... is this normal?? Also it dosen't have power steering and is very difficult to turn...

    Loosing gear oil where the outdrive splits

    I just replaced the input shaft seal. Took it out, and it did great.. it's been sitting in the driveway for 3 days and I've noticed its slowly leaking gear oil.. Its coming out where the unit splits.....can someone please help me with this??

    2004 alpha one gear oil in gimbal bellows

    2004 alpha one mercruiser, pulled the outdrive off to replace shift bellows and inspect everything. Well the u joints are shot. My question is, when I pulled the outdrive off gear oil hit the ground and there's gear oil in my gimble/drive bellows. Is this normal? Or do I have another...
