Similar situation a month ago after going to Mohave for a few days. Although that time the coating didn’t come off as easily and I had to scrub it off with CLR.
Yeah actually I saw a sign in the marina at Mohave that mentioned potential electrical currents in the water. So that’s likely what it was. Frustrating.
Nope! Same prop. I had to give it a good scrubbing but the CLR took whatever coating was off it. I’ve followed up with a little bit of polishing, but that’s it.

Will likely only be sitting for a few months tops just during the coldest part of winter. Just had its yearly service too so none of that is necessary. More concerned with letting it sit for a few months and what should be done for that.
