Hi guys, Does anyone know what kind of temp sender below this is? and if possible a part number.
It has a pink and black wire and the following numbers on it - AS2 and Y100
Its from a 6E900 yamaha built mariner (2 stroke / 2 cyl)

Hi, guys
Trying to find out the exact model number of this mariner O/B. All the other pictures of similar O/B's Ive seen have only 1 wire going to the temp sensor on the head while this one had 2 going to it. I have bought 3 diff manuals on CD and still cant find this exact outboard.

I recenty took out my new boat with the above outboard, after a while i was increasing the throttle and after a few mins of high throttle the oil/temp light started to flash and it cut down revs to a splutter. After off and on again it would keep doing the same unless i kept it at very low revs...
