Sweet the Go Advanced suggestion worked! I deleted the rig pics off my phone when I saved em on the puter. I'll get some more tomorrow so I don't have to fool with going through iTunes and saving em back on the phone. I'll get em up...
I have another (older) thread on this motor and instead of adding a different, but similar topic of discussion thought it'd be best to start a new thread. I've rebuilt the carb with a kit minus the float bowl. The coils each ohm at 4.69, points have plenty of padding on them and gapped at .020...
Have a '65 Johnson FD-19 here. I assume a 20 would, but will a 25 horse of the same era bolt in the 18 hp's place? Thanks in advance for any insight gents.
Happy Easter folks. I have a question regarding a hole in the lower unit of a 15hp Johnson. The hole isn't threaded, but its leaking a little oil and water after having ran it in a barrel for a little while. The hole in question is in the (port side) tiller arm side just above of the prop gear...
My Uncle has a lead on a Mercury outboard and only has the serial number. I've been looking all morning to no avail. He thinks its either a 7.5 or 9.8. If anyone has a link or info to help me out I'd kindly appreciate your efforts and time. The serial number he was given is 5801189.

Now upon a better look the number that's stamped seems to be J2405234. There is a scratch on the plug that led me to believe initially it was a B.
