what will cause it to flood only above 3/4 throttle? at idle or low rpms its fine, but if i run it at all over 3/4 throttle gas start pouring out of the carb...
carb is spotless! i thought maybe the float adjustment was out but i tried many diff angles and same problem.

managed to get the trailer finished up in time for a local fishing derby.
in the water around 6:30am, i waited till good daylight so i could float for few minutes and check everything over. she fired right up with no problems, found no loose hose clamps or anything else so good to go.

father bought a used 1975 120 merc from a boat repair shop... in a sc 18ss to replace his 1970 140 thats been noisy for too long and blew a head gasket last...
is there an additive that actually rejuvinates the seals? has anyone used something good that doesnt clog the pump or journals?
new used motor has been sitting a few years and the rear main seal is dripping oil after just being fired up today.... im assuming the seal may have hardened or...
anyone else find the shipping prices to be really high? i was going to order the 2# gluvit kit but it would total at $84.00 with shipping :(
i understand that its hazardess material but i just ordered 2 part foam from florida(i live in ny) and shipping for a 16# kit was only about $18.00...

well i pulled out the pressure washer to clean up the new to us engine and well blew right threw the (steel) welch plugs that someone opted to use instead of the marine brass plugs.... im glad i found out now...
