    i got this engine with a boat that didnt have a cowling ive read that and cowling from 6hp to 15 hp will work but some look a little different from others these are two that say there 1987 but they look so different...

    help figuring out year of a motor

    i just got a 12ft alumicraft and came with a 2 stroke, 6hp twin serial number 3195586 can anybody tell me what year it is so i can find parts that are needed note i found a chart first # must be a b not a 3 wich makes it a 1987 http://www.maxrules.com/models/Merc_model_files/2p2-6.html

    using composite for new floor in my boat

    i was givin a 92 wellcraft excel that needs to be rebuilt and was wondering if i can use the composite wood for the decking will the fiberglass stick to it i figure if im gonna rebuild it pay the money and make it a no rot boat
