while fishing today boat would not go into neutral or reverse. I went through the throttle and was able to get into neutral but still wont go into reverse after going through throttle I am convinced it is in the lower unit. any suggestions would be helpful.
just bought a 79 sleekcraft tunnel hull with a 1980 225 merc outboard with a jackplate, I took boat into have serviced and Bradleys marine (open for over 25 years) owner said he had never seen a lower unit like mine. he said that it is original and unmodified but it is a speed lower unit...
