1990 Yamaha 250 project ski boat.
The boat has a built in tank that looks so-so, but some minor corrosion I think I would like to filter out before it hits the engine filter,
(10 ft from the built in tank to the motor.)
What kind of filter can I add without disrupting the fuel flow? and...

I have a 1990 Yamaha 250, reverse is limited to 1700rpm which is not enough in some situations. Is there an adjustment in the throttle control box or on the motor? Thanks

If the engine fails to start, it makes an oohhgaaa - duck honking noise as it winds down. (Same noise my shop vac made after years of use and abuse)
It seems like it would be a bearing, can the starter be lubricated? and if so how and where, and with what? or what else should I check????
