    In gear when started

    For some reason when i started my motor i noticed that the prop was spinning, it's in gear for some reason when it's actually in neutral. I checked the linkage and it seems to be working. I cannot spin the prop with my hand without turning the motor over. Any suggestions on what could be wrong???

    Fuel Question

    I have a 1988 125 force on a pontoon boat, my question is, does it matter what octane fuel i use? I once herd that for your older outboard engines will run better with premium fuel.

    125 1988 force engine water pump

    When i dropped the foot on my engine the copper looking pipe that takes the water from the water pump to the engine is just kind of dangaling, i can move it up and down and around, is this normal or should this be firmly positioned into the engine, help would be appreciated.

    1988 Force 125 water pump

    I just purchased a pontoon boat that has a 1988 125 hp, where is the water supposed to come out of this engine, it's different from my yamaha engine where the water comes out from the side. I ran it the other day in a barrell the other day and i don't think the water pump is working. any help...
