So I got a J8RCUD Johnson 8 HP today and it has a placard on the front for fuel oil mix to be 100/1 does anyone have a owners manual that can confirm this? Can anyone give me a link to a site that would have this info?
While pumping my primer bulb I notice fuel coming out from the connetion point at the engine once the fuel pressue gets to a certain point. Is this a normal overpressure releif? or are my connectors just shot and need replacing? My main engine and kicker do this at noticable diffrent pressures...

So I took my 16 ft Starcraft out in the Columbia river and It was 5 miles from the dock to my anchor point and back. I used 5 gallons of fuel. While running I looked at the engine and saw no evidance of fuel leaking from the engine at all. Anyone have a Tip for finiding this issue?

Folks I just got a 40 HP Lark. It is mounted on a 1964 Starcraft 16 ft and I have a few questions.
I was told by the previous owner and the local Evinrude dealer that the oil ratio is 50:1. I see the manual calls for 24:1.
What is right? or is the modern fuel and oils just better?
