my engine was running good. It idles up good but when I put it in gear and try to take off it wants to die. And after awhile it starts running good again. Can anyone help?
I just bought this boat knowing it had some issues, for $500 I couldn't pass on it. It came with the motor and Trailer that is in good shape. I started by removing the rotten decks and seats. I cleaned out the fuel tank, put new hoses, rewired the boat and got the motor running. Motor is a 83...
Its been sitting up for about 2 years. I rebuilt the fuel pump changed the fuel lines then started it, it idled high so i slowed it down. Then I found fuel leaking out on the starboard side of the engine. It idles rough, spits and sneezes then kills. Any ideas?
