    can buy 3.0l 4cyl alpha one gen 1 outdrive cheap to use u joint for alignment tool. My engine is 5.7 alpha 1 gen 2 outdrive. will this fit?

    there is a spacer (coller ) about 3/4 thick that goes thru rear engine bell housing to transom mount , one on each side Rear motor mounts

    just rebuilt engine SBC 5.7. Want to install closed cooling. For full system dd you need sea water pump? Outdrive is Alpha one 2nd gen. vendor said pump in outdrive is sufficient

    setting ign timing

    Installing 1998 5.7 SBC from c1500 pick up into my 1993 Larson. I have a few questions 1- How do I set ign timing with composite timing cover 2- what is lifter preload (has roller cam) .5 turn .75turn ect from 0 lash 3- removed core plug to install brass, old plug was brass.Is this normal? Thanks

    water weeping thru hull

    After pulling engine on 93 23' larson cutty I noticed water weeping into boat down low in oil pan area. very slight, would probebly fill shot glass about 1 hour. Bad, very bad or will it dry out? boat is on trailler. little water in bilge when i uncovered recently

    have 2 oil pans For SBC. one w/ drain in center, other w/ drain in side, which is better? Is there aftermarket valve that is durable to help oil change easier?
